In July 1925, the Rotary Club of Bendigo was the second club
to be chartered in Victoria (Melbourne was the first) and the seventh in Australia. We are now one
of over 31,000 clubs that form Rotary International. Our charitable organisation operates in
more than 200 countries. There are 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide, all working on challenging humanitarian
programs aimed at eliminating hunger, poverty, and illiteracy.
